KVKK Information Notice (Personal Data Protection Information)

In order to provide our valued customers with uninterrupted and secure services, our company may need to collect, process, and transfer to third parties the personal data you have provided to us. Our company takes the highest possible security measures to protect your privacy during the collection, storage, processing, and, when necessary, sharing of your personal data in compliance with applicable laws.

Our aim is to inform you transparently about how your personal data is collected, the purposes of processing, the legal grounds for processing, and your rights, in line with our commitment to customer satisfaction.

a) Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “Law”), your personal data may be collected and processed by Tursot Otelcilik Turizm ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. as the data controller, within the scope explained below.

b) Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed, in line with our company’s principles, for the following purposes:

• Ensuring secure accommodation,
• Making necessary evaluations for the services provided,
• Complying with insurance legislation, Social Security Institution regulations, consumer law, and both domestic and international legal obligations,
• Fulfilling information and documentation obligations arising from legal regulations,
• Preventing fraud,
• Ensuring security,
• Conducting market research and procurement operations,
• Managing legal processes and implementing corporate social responsibility projects,
• Providing you with uninterrupted, improved, and reliable services.

Processing will be carried out under the personal data processing conditions and purposes set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

In addition to the above, your personal data may also be processed to:

• Offer you customized products and services and communicate regarding such products/services,
• Conduct promotional, marketing, product/service offering, and campaign activities with your consent,
• Develop suitable services and products,
• Conduct customer satisfaction studies,
• Support current or new product development efforts by our company and its subsidiaries, and
• Identify target customer groups and perform market research.

Your personal data may also be processed for the fulfillment of our company’s contractual and commercial obligations within the scope of agreements or joint activities with third-party real or legal persons, with whom our company has business relationships, and for:

• Exercising and protecting rights,
• Conducting legal and commercial assessments,
• Performing legal and commercial risk analyses, and
• Managing financial operations.

c) To Whom and for What Purposes Processed Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred to:

• Subsidiaries and affiliated group companies,
• Companies operated under the intermediary/agency title,
• Support service providers from whom our company receives complementary or extension services for its operations,

All transfers will be in accordance with the conditions and purposes set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law concerning the domestic and international transfer of personal data.

Furthermore, in cases where data is legally requested by public institutions or authorities with recognized powers and rights, or in the event of a legal dispute, the data may be shared with such institutions or legal authorities.

ç) Types of Personal Data Collected, Collection Method, and Legal Grounds

The following personal data may be collected:

• Your name, surname, profession, address, phone and fax numbers, email address, and other contact details,
• Family and demographic information,
• Identity and passport details,
• Travel and itinerary details,
• Accommodation and reservation details,
• Billing and payment information,
• Audio recordings via our call center,
• Security camera/video/photo footage,
• Health data collected to fulfill our legal obligations in case of accidents,
• Product order information,
• Payment and refund information,
• Personal interests,
• Information you provide to our staff regarding product or service requests or complaints,
• Data regarding the use of our website, mobile applications, and other communication channels,
• Email address used for mass mail systems for informational, advertising, and promotional purposes,
• For website users: computer/hardware and connection details, page view statistics, traffic data, ad data, IP addresses, and standard web log information,
• Information about your preferences or past experiences related to products or services may also be collected by the data controller.
• These data are collected via:
• Our website, mobile/digital applications, social media, call center,
• Companies we operate as intermediary/agency,
• Customer meetings, SMS, written/digital applications made to other websites,
• Support service providers including outsourced call center services,
• All data are collected through authorized institutions and individuals, within the limits permitted by relevant legislation and agreements, and in legally required situations, with your consent.
• The personal data collected via these methods may be processed and transferred within the scope of the purposes specified in sections (b) and (c) of this Notice in accordance with Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

d) Rights of the Personal Data Owner as per Article 11 of the Law

According to Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with this purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed, and request that the correction be communicated to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• Request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, despite lawful processing, and request that the deletion or destruction be communicated to third parties,
• Object to results arising to your detriment from exclusive automated processing of your personal data,
• Request compensation for damages if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

If you submit your requests regarding your rights listed above to our company using the methods specified below, our company will evaluate and respond to your request as soon as possible, and at the latest within thirty (30) days, free of charge. However, if fulfilling your request incurs a cost, a fee may be charged in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.

In accordance with Article 13 of the Law, you may submit your request in writing or by other methods to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board in the future. The communication channels and procedures for submitting your request in writing are as follows:
